La banda dell’escavatore: “Abbiamo finito signora”

In provincia di Catania altro doppio colpo della banda dell’escavatore, almeno sette, otto persone. Dopo gli assalti a Vizzini nella notte del 19 ottobre, altre due banche catanesi sono state sventrate nell’arco di poche ore con operazioni da film, una delle quali è stata video registrata in diretta da un cittadino svegliato dai rumori. Identiche le rapine: la prima a Mirabella Imbaccari, intorno alle 3:30, in piazza Vespri, dove è stata rubata la cassa del bancomat della Banca Popolare di Ragusa con un escavatore rubato. Bottino da quantificare. Poi verso le ore 5 a Scordia, contro la sede dell’Unicredit in via Vittorio Emanuele: la strada è stata transennata, come se vi fosse un cantiere, e diversi rapinatori con felpe e cappucci bianchi sono entrati in azione. Anche in tal caso è stato abbattuto il muro, e sono state divelte le casseforti di due bancomat. Il frastuono ha svegliato alcuni residenti che si sono affacciati al balcone e uno di loro ha filmato tutto in diretta su Tik Tok, commentando la rapina: “Carusi, mi tremano le gambe”. Prima di fuggire, uno dei malviventi si è scusato per il baccano con una donna affacciata: “Abbiamo finito signora”. Indagano i Carabinieri…
